Catarina, an Expert tutor, graduated this past May from Montclair State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Currently, she is working as a substitute teacher pursuing additional schooling in her field. She is excited to obtain a position as a full-time teacher. Catarina loves working with children and is able to tutor k-6 in math, reading, science and social studies. She has experience assisting many elementary school age students with homework as well. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and running.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
