Jennifer, a master tutor and educator, earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business Communication from Baruch College. She holds a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Relay Graduate School and is currently completing a second master’s in Elementary Special Education. Jennifer has been working with children and families for over a decade, blending her background in healthcare and education to support a wide range of learning needs. She has worked with students from birth through 6th grade and currently serves as a Special Education Resource Room teacher for grades K–6. Jennifer specializes in literacy instruction and is especially skilled in differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners. Her approach is grounded in the belief that learning is not one-size-fits-all and that students thrive when educators take a holistic view, considering each child’s strengths, challenges, and environment. Before entering the classroom, Jennifer worked as a vision therapist, helping children with learning disabilities strengthen their visual processing and self-regulation skills. She has also supported infants and toddlers as a developmental interventionist in Early Intervention, helping children under age 3 meet developmental milestones through family-centered strategies. Fun fact: Jennifer is a lover of visual art and can often be found exploring art festivals when not in the classroom. She also enjoys trying new foods from different cultures—her most recent favorite is dan dan noodles!
