Over her seven years of experience in the field of education she has worked in a variety of settings, with students ranging from ages 5-21. Currently, Shaina is a full time Special Education Teacher, providing in-class support for fifth grade students. Shaina's biggest teaching strength is in the bonds she creates with her students. Through mutual respect Shaina works to build bonds with her students that help her to understand them best as individuals, as well as learners.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
