Dana, a master tutor, holds a Bachelor's degree in Education with Honors and a minor in Art. With nearly 40 years of experience in education, Dana is well-equipped to assist your child/student across a range of tutoring needs, specializing particularly in reading and reading comprehension. Her expertise includes successfully teaching countless students to read, spanning from preschool through 5th grade, earning numerous accolades over the years. In addition to her role as a classroom teacher (preschool through 1st grade) and educational tutor, Dana has served as an After-School Director, Substitute Teacher (preschool through 5th grade), and Educational Consultant. She has also managed an adult educational center and currently trains adults as part of her responsibilities at a New Jersey real estate company. Dana has consistently excelled in every position she has held. Parents of children under her guidance, as well as adults she currently trains and advises, have expressed high satisfaction with her instructional methods, patience, and good humor. Dana eagerly anticipates the opportunity to work with you and your child/student, whether it involves enhancing reading and comprehension skills (any grade level) or developing math skills (preschool through 2nd grade).

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
