Alex, an expert tutor, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rutgers University’s School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biological Sciences. While in college, Alex tutored peers in various STEM subjects, gaining a strong foundation in teaching complex material. During his senior year, Alex served as a teaching assistant for a seminar in practical and applied psychology, mentoring students and helping them build habits to succeed in their academic endeavors. Following graduation, Alex worked as a study coordinator in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. Currently, Alex is back at Rutgers pursuing an M.S. in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With a patient and engaging approach, Alex is dedicated to helping students unlock their potential by identifying their strengths and developing personalized study strategies that work best for them. Specializing in AP and college-level Biology and Chemistry, Alex focuses on fostering deep understanding and mastery of the material, ensuring students are fully prepared for their exams and future academic challenges.

Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.
