Beata, an expert tutor, is a recent Summa Cum Laude (top 5%) graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park with a dual degree in Neurobiology & Physiology (B.S.) and Psychology (B.S.). She began her teaching career at 14 years old teaching chess at a chess club and also through 1-on-1 lessons! She has continued to teach chess these past 8 years, and in college, she began tutoring biology, psychology, and chemistry as well! While in school, Beata worked as a teaching assistant in multiple college biology courses, and in her spare time, she tutored her peers in chemistry. Since graduating, she has also been tutoring SAT math after realizing how much she enjoyed helping her younger brother with his SAT math preparation. Additionally, Beata is currently studying and preparing to take her own standardized exam -- the MCAT -- to pursue medical school.
